On The Rocks is my baby, my beautiful gay Hawaiian baby. It's the first novel I've ever written and a testament to anyone trying to accomplish a new goal. I did it and you can too!
Synopsis: “On The Rocks" is a fiction novel about a gay club, based in Honolulu, Hawaii, that is about to get shut down. Owned and run by a makeshift ‘ohana, this dysfunctional gay club has seen better days.
Written like a movie, "On The Rocks" is a bartender's answer to the movie "Waiting..." humorously mixed with "Mean Girls," "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar" and "Love Actually."
It is a description of what it is like to be a local and a native to the islands of Hawaii and also what it's like to be a part of the LGBT+ community in general. If you have ever worked in a bar or club, many of the characters may remind you of those you have encountered in your experience.
"On The Rocks" is fun, funny, deep and emotional. I really hope you'll enjoy reading it!
